BALTIMORE, March 1, 2023 — THB Bagelry & Deli (THB), winner of multiple “Best of Baltimore” awards for its authentic New York-style bagels, has partnered with LifeBridge Health to celebrate Maryland Day.

For the seventh year, the family-owned bagel shop will sell its Maryland flag-inspired bagels, which are colored black, red, white and yellow in honor of the Maryland State Flag. The bagels will be available at all six THB locations (Owings Mills, Columbia, Towson, Timonium, Charles Village, and Canton).

Maryland Day commemorates the landing of the first European settlers in the Province of Maryland on March 25, 1634. Maryland's flag bears the arms of the Calvert and Crossland families, and as we all know, no other state comes close to the pride and passion Marylanders have for our state flag.

Pre-sale orders of the popular bagels are now available at www.eatthb.com/order-online (order by store location). THB encourages customers to order ahead to show their Maryland pride and to ensure availability of these festive and fun bagels over the Maryland Day weekend. Some Maryland Day bagels will be available at THB locations during the weekend of March 24-26, but these fan favorites do sell out quickly.

A portion of proceeds from the Maryland Day bagels will go to LifeBridge Health, benefiting the health system’s five hospitals and programs that support patients and the community.

The Maryland Day bagels are just the latest partnership between THB and LifeBridge Health. In April, THB customers ordering in store at THB kiosks will be able to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar with proceeds to benefit the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month the past two Octobers, THB has donated a portion of proceeds from the sale of its Pink bagels to LifeBridge Health’s local cancer centers, including the Lapidus Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital and the Herman & Walter Samuelson Breast Center at Northwest Hospital. THB also donated boxes of Pink and assorted bagels to patients and staff at the centers.

Photos and video of the Maryland Day bagels are available.
