Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center President Daniel Blum Accepts Position with New York Healthcare Organization

Baltimore, MD – LifeBridge Health Senior Vice President and Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center President Daniel Blum will leave the organization later this month for a new position as chief executive officer of a New York-based healthcare organization. 

LifeBridge Health President & CEO Neil Meltzer said Mr. Blum has made significant contributions during his tenure.

“Dan Blum has led Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center through the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been an unprecedented challenge for healthcare. Dan truly cares deeply for our team members, our patients and our communities, and that compassion has been a hallmark of his tenure. Along with managing the COVID response at Sinai and Grace, Dan led initiatives around the renovation and expansion of the Sinai emergency department, the opening of The Jill Fox Center for Hope to combat violence and the renovation of Grace Medical Center in West Baltimore. We thank Dan for all that he had done and wish him well in his new role,” says Meltzer.

LifeBridge Health Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Leslie Simmons will lead Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center as interim president until a permanent successor is named. 

Blum’s final day at LifeBridge Health will be December 9, 2022. He joined the organization in April 2020.
