The LifeBridge Health Krieger Eye Institute Opens New Office at Northwest Hospital
Baltimore, Md. - The LifeBridge Health Krieger Eye Institute unveils a new office and optical shop at Northwest Hospital. This is a full-service location that offers patients a complete range of ophthalmic subspecialties, as well as general eye care and vision screenings. This location complements the other Krieger Eye Institute offices located at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Quarry Lake off of Greenspring Avenue.
"We are very excited to offer the residents of Randallstown and the surrounding Northwest Hospital community the benefits of the world-class services and specialists of the Krieger Eye Institute," said Brian White, president of Northwest Hospital. "This is a welcome addition to our other centers of excellence such as the Women's Wellness Center and Breast Care Center."
The office is staffed by several ophthalmic subspecialists, an optometrist, and certified ophthalmic assistants and technicians. The ophthalmologist on site, Parvathy Pillai, M.D., will practice general ophthalmology, treat inflammatory eye conditions and perform cataract surgery. Other conditions treated by the Krieger Eye Institute include glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, retinal detachment, macular degeneration, corneal transplant, and aesthetic eyelid and facial surgery.
An optical shop is also on site that provides an entire range of eyeglass frames and lens selections for every age, including young children.
