LifeBridge Health Announces New Head of Strategic Planning and Research

Neil Carpenter has been named vice president of strategic planning and research, a newly created position within LifeBridge Health, one of the largest, most comprehensive health providers in Maryland.

Neil Carpenter has been named vice president of strategic planning and research, a newly created position within LifeBridge Health, one of the largest, most comprehensive health providers in Maryland. Carpenter is responsible for developing vital analyses and strategic plans to guide LifeBridge Health successfully through the shifting landscape of health care.

In this role, Carpenter will assess how the organization can best serve the changing needs and requirements of our communities. He will also gauge the efficiency of operations through ongoing market studies to create and execute the strategic plan for LifeBridge Health.

Most recently serving as the director of strategic planning and research, Carpenter's expert analysis and planning was a key component in the affiliation with Carroll Hospital, which joined LifeBridge Health April 1, 2015.

Carpenter joined LifeBridge Health in 2013. Prior to that, he was a senior strategy consultant at Chartis Group and the manager of strategy practice at Deloitte Consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Business Administration from the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
